About the Ranch
Welcome to Rancho de los Cielos. We're a family-owned equestrian facility in Riverside, built on a genuine respect for horses and the people who love them. Over the years, we've grown into a dedicated breeder of healthy, well-trained horses with strong bloodlines and exceptional temperament.
We also know that finding a trustworthy place to board your horse can be frustrating. That's why we designed our facility to be a place where owners feel completely at ease — open communication, transparent pricing, and the highest standard of daily care.

— Riding Lessons

Beginners start here — close contact, calm horse, complete focus on you.
As balance and seat develop, room to gait, turn, and learn collection.
Hills, footing changes, and the rhythm of an unfolding ride.
Through the back gate into chaparral — arroyos, ridgelines, wind.
— Support Patterns of the Symmetrical Gaits
Gaited horses do more than walk, trot, and canter. The Mangalarga Marchador moves in two natural marchas — the lateral picada (glassy, slower) and the diagonal batida (animated, faster).
Even, perfectly-spaced 4-beat footfall — the smoothest gaits in the world. Walk, flat walk, running walk, paso llano.
Same-side legs move together. Pace, amble, saddle rack, true rack — including the Marchador's marcha picada.
Opposite-corner legs move together. The trot bounces; the fox trot smooths it out — the Marchador's marcha batida.

— What our clients say
We bought our mare from Theresa and she has the calmest, most willing temperament — exactly as promised. You can tell these horses are loved from day one.
After three boarding facilities that ghosted us, finding Rancho de los Cielos was a relief. Clear updates, clean stalls, our gelding has never been happier.
My daughter took her first lessons here and now she rides every weekend. Patient instructors, beautiful horses, the kindest people in Riverside.
